I am currently employed at ICTP's Sci FabLab (Scientific Fabrication Laboratory). It is a science oriented fast prototyping laboratory, therefore, our main projects involve science, in particular physics.
I am responsible of the laboratory during the public opening hours. My tasks are teaching people how to use 3D printers, laser cutters and other facilities we have. Moreover, I help them develop their projects and choose the best technology to build their prototype.
Here I do research on material recycling for the design industry and how traditional crafts can meet the modern fabrication technologies. I recently focused on plastic and the different ways it can be recycled. Another part of the research covers art and how it can be usable by blind people.
Studio Nichetto is one of the most important design studios in Itlay and his work is globally recognized. I participated to the brand development process from start to finish. My role included the design and production of visual materials for various projects: sketches, 3D modeling with Rhinoceros, renderings using Key Shot, 2D drawings and creation of mock-ups with traditional tools.
Italia-Serbia is an association funded in Trieste, which aim is to promote culture between these two countries.
I was responsible for the visual identity of the Association.
My job included contacting Italian and Serbian galleries in order to organize and coordinate expositions, design its corporate identity and managing the communication through social media and the website (http://www.italia-serbia.org).
