A Voxel Agents game ‘The Gardens Between’ is a meditative, observational puzzle game about two best friends who fall into a surreal, in-between world where they must help each other find their way home.
For a mysterious design, I created an identity that has an emphasis on the game’s theme of ‘between worlds’. The logo type includes perfectly balanced yet peculiar typography combined with a linear icon to convey a transitional place or in-between world.
Secondary typeface and colour palette were selected to compliment the logo and icon, allowing the identity to flow into the digital and print materials. The colour palette was selected to compliment the games illustrations – garden filled landscapes that are vibrant with a melancholic feel.
