The RabbitHole Studio is part of the fourth year program as part of the Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) degree. It allowed junior designers to be involved with real briefs and real clients, such as Penrith Regional Gallery and the Nepean Creative Arts Institution. It provided a space for junior designs to collaborate on group projects, enhance their design skills and build their portfolios.
While working in the RabbitHole Studio, I created a children's book on the topic of Child Abuse. I created a poem which tells the story of a mother and her butterfly. The butterfly's wings are taken, however the bond between her and her mother grows stronger, allowing her wounds to heal. By incorporating a poem, hand drawn illustrations with Indian patterns and Illustrative techniques, the story was able to convey its message to the target audience of 4-11yr old girls and their families.

Need a fresh pair of eyes to look over that design?
Well I’ve got a pair!
These eyes are one of a kind! They can spot great colour, layout and typography, and visualise creative concepts.
After four years at Western Sydney University, studying a Bachelor of Design (Visual Communication) and freelancing, they’ve enhanced their skills and understanding of how design can be used to affect an audience which makes them a spectacle at designing for a purpose. They hope to create great work for their clients but will always be pupils of the design industry. Always watching, always learning.
