I assisted staff and students with a range of issues from basic troubleshooting and usage issues to login access, mailbox delegation and networking issues. Additionally we provided support for lecture theatres, assisting with time critical issues as well as issue escalation to specific teams. We provided support over the phone, via email and through ticket management software.
As well as being technically proficient, we are required to have strong communications skills as well as be able to troubleshoot new technology on the fly.
Best Practice Productions is an in house production group developing live and online content for the continued education of dentists across Australia. I was part of the audio department, in charge of recording and post producing interviews, lectures and live surgery recordings. I was also onsite IT support assisting in the upgrading of old systems, and their ongoing functionality.
Worked at the Flagship Apple Store in Sydney. Was a customer facing technical support officer, assisting Apple users with software and hardware related issues. Also tasked with hardware repairs out of business hours. Working for apple I learnt valuable customer service skills. I also know Apple consumer software and hardware inside out. I have training the Apple ProApps Aperture, and Logic.
Intern/Junior at Linear Recording studio. Linear is a high end, analogue recording studio. I assisted the main engineer in everyday recording duties. I would also assist external engineers with the running of the room.
