Better if You're Around (Soften the Fck Up)

About the project

A US study, that traced the lives of those who attempted suicide off the Golden Gate Bridge, found that 30 years later, approximately 90% of were either still alive or had passed away from natural causes.

Depression and suicide can be lifelong battles, though this study makes the case that, for many people, they are temporary hurdles.

"Better if You're Around" highlights some of the experiences, joys, tribulations, highs and lows to be experienced in life. These are experiences that aren’t always easy to envisage for those with depression.

The idea isn't to paint a rose-coloured vision of life - the main character continues to experience both good times and shitty times throughout life. The key is that good times are part of the equation.
