Creative network The Loop partnered with TEDxSydney to host their flagship satellite event in the Sydney Opera House Studio.
As Head of Marketing I managed the partnership with Hannah Silverton and developed ideas of how The Loop community could be involved in the inspirational event.
In the spirit of ‘ideas worth spreading’, we invited the community to share their big idea in a two-minute pitch, explicitly outlining the wishlist of what they would need to bring the idea to life. Four sets of people with four brilliant pitches were chosen by The Loop and curator Jess Scully to present on the day to the TEDx and Satellite Event audiences of 7000+ people worldwide in the hope of generating publicity for their idea and making new connections with like-minded people.
We welcomed over 600 people throughout the day and had a further 7000 viewers tune in from satellite events and the main TED event.
