Standing in Art Director for NW Magazine for maternity leave
Worked on Better Homes and Gardens magazine. Managing workflow, multi-tasking, taking initiative in a busy art department as well as laying out food and gardening features as well as instructional DIY and craft stories.
In charge of all aspects of print and web design from concept through to completed artwork. Marketing, brainstorming conceptual ideas involving sustainability, transmogrification and constructivism through the use of open spaces and creative thinking.
Launched the magazine title Urban Beats Magazine. Then moved on to working as Art Director on Blunt music magazine and Australian Guitar magazine. Also worked on Rolling Stone and Soap World as well as a variety of poster magazines and childrens magazines including Mania magazine and have done illustrations for a variety of titles. Have also designed ads and flyers for events and clubs through Blunt Magazine.
In charge of layouts and proofing of advertisements, designing ads and editorial, liasing with clients.
Worked on Inpress, Time Out, Drum Media, 3D World
Freelance packaging and design in a studio environment for companies such as Mattel, Nickelodian, The Cartoon Network, Fisher-Price toys and MGA Entertainment.
Designing from brief through to final artwork in a studio environment. Presentations, studio work, pre-press and point of sale for large marketing and event companies such as Fuzzy, Sony, numerous record labels.
