Your day to day role will involve creation and design output of material across print and digital. Accepting creative briefs from Headjam’s Creative Directors, Senior Designers and Account Services team or directly from the client to create an end to end solution. You will support our creative team across all of the studios projects. You will be expected to participate in concept and brainstorming sessions and attend client meetings as necessary. As time progresses your responsibilities will grow within the team.
You will have a strong creative ability and work productively with clients and within a creative team. You are able to follow direction and need to be an all rounder with 1 to 3 years industry experience. You will be highly conversant with the Adobe Suite and have a good knowledge of digital development, user interface and user experience design.
As a person you will be positive with a solution-focused attitude. You are easy going and happy to work in an open plan environment. Our business works on collaboration and every staff member has input.
Skillset + Experience
This position represents a Junior level creative position in our company. You will be responsible for design solutions form concept to completion. You will work with the Headjam team to help execute and contribute ideas and designs.
+ 1 - 3 years industry experience as a graphic designer.
+ Highly skilled in Adobe Suite (we use Creative Cloud)
+ Proficient in Mac operation
+ Strong conceptual skills
+ A recent portfolio of your work detailing your role in each project
+ A solid understanding of digital design for websites, apps, social media & campaigns
+ Ability to create and deliver strong, insightful, high quality work on tight deadlines
+ A solid understanding of print and digital outputs across all formats from billboards to mobile phones
+ Ability to create intelligent solutions from briefs from concept to final delivery
+ Your verbal and written communication must be exemplary
+ Excellent attention to detail & ability to work autonomously
+ A full time resident of Australia
+ Working knowledge of Adobe Business Catalyst
+ Working knowledge of Streamtime
+ Motion video production knowledge
+ A good taste in tea or coffee :-)
