Sprout Creative is looking for a junior to mid-weight designer to join our tight-knit studio and work across a broad range of print and digital projects.
Our team is comprised of innovative and friendly designers who, since leaving their respective rat races of Brisbane, Melbourne and Paris have been enjoying mid-winter days of 28ºC and a laid-back office culture where shoes are optional and bakery treats on birthdays essential.
Darwin has a burgeoning cafe scene, a vibrant arts and culture sector, and, just out of town, some of the most incredible landscapes and scenery in the country. Working overtime at Sprout is almost unheard-of, so there’s plenty of time for enjoying the tropical lifestyle.
We are looking for someone who is flexible, resourceful and adaptable. Our ideal candidate is interested in getting hands-on with social media, has a good understanding of the core elements of digital design, and is driven to produce clever, original design work.
You will work closely with clients to create innovative design and marketing outcomes. A high level of individual autonomy means you’ll have the opportunity to manage projects from inception through to completion, handling all aspects of a project with high levels of direct client communication.
In addition to being a full service creative agency, Sprout designs and publishes the significant business magazine Territory Q, plus the NT food and leisure magazine Territory Taste, which has grown into a two-day food & wine festival celebrating all things culinary in the Territory.
You’re an Australian Citizen, with a couple of years experience in print and digital design. You are creative, competent and proficient in using Adobe Creative Suite, and have a solid understanding of print and digital design principles. We are looking for someone who wants to extend their creative career and is up for an adventure.
