Workflow Manager (Maternity Cover)

Weâre looking for an enthusiastic Workflow Manager to liaise between all agency team members to manage and allocate project resources from pipeline to final delivery. Reporting to the Senior Creative Lead, the Workflow Manager is a highly self-motivated, detail oriented, people person responsible for tracking and proactively guiding projects through the internal workflow system.

We're Australia's leading presentation agency - we write, design, manage and train on all types of presentations for some of the most incredible companies including Telstra, CommBank, Visa, Qantas, Barangaroo and SBS.

Key Responsibilities:

Maintain and update schedule of studio allocations

Ensure that all designers are matched with project tasks that play to their strengths to ensure tasks are completed efficiently

Monitor project progress, tracking scope changes and identifying potential instances of underutilisation so that issues can be actively solved in conjunction with departmental managers

Liaise between the Client Services, Design and Content Teams to ensure outputs are delivered on time and to budget

Demonstrate a firm yet flexible approach to workflow management to meet the ever-changing resource demand of the agency

Manage freelance team and contractor resources, including coordinating of hiring, induction, invoicing and budget management in conjunction with the Senior Creative Manager

Strong understanding of project management principles and business goals necessary to identify roadblocks to success

Work with internal teams to develop and manage a resourcing approach for events

Review pipeline reports regularly to gain an understanding of resource requirement

Conduct weekly departmental productivity reporting for delivery to Departmental Team Leads and GM for review;

Utilise Workflowmax (project/client management software) to create and generate reports on request.

Your Skills:

Excellent organisational, verbal, written, listening and communication skills

Pro-active and flexible self-starter with strong problem-solving skills

Be able to work under pressure

Have a calm can-do attitude

Ability to work independently and in support of department goals and business objectives

Understand and manage the application of the trade-offs between time, cost, quality and scope when managing project delays and prioritising client work in studio

Qualifications:

Worked in a production role preferably within a creative environment

Strong MS Office Suite skills

Experience working with a project management platform

Understand the creative process

Agency experience a plus
