We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic junior, or recently qualified graphic designer keen to apply, develop and grow their skill base in a fast-paced creative studio.
ArmstrongQ is a leading communication strategy and design consultancy based in North Sydney. We currently have an opportunity for a junior designer to work alongside and support our award winning team.
We are looking for a qualified designer, ideally with one to two years industry experience in print and web design.
The appropriate candidate will be competent in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop CS and will work closely with the Creative Director, but will be a part of a talented close-knit team. Digital and web skills (HTML/CSS) would be highly regarded.
The ideal candidate must have a positive attitude, be proactive, comfortable working to deadlines, possess a "can-do”, “whatever it takes” client-centric attitude.
In return you will be able to develop and grow your skills and learn “hands-on” about every aspect of a successful, integrated, communications design studio. From print, web, photography and videography through to art direction, project management, and client and supplier liaison. This workplace grounding will form (and broaden) the foundations of your future career.

We are an iconic seafood restaurant and bar located on the Northern Beaches of Sydney, looking for an individual to manage our online marketing.
The role involves planning our social media campaigns, managing Facebook and Instagram accounts, maintaining our established brand voice as well as writing a monthly blog and EDM.
Whilst much of the work can be undertaken from home, you will need to be available to visit the restaurant weekly to take photos and liase with the team, so a local would be preferred.
Hospitality experience will also be highly favoured.

Right now, our team is on the hunt for an outstanding Photographer.
You will need to be able to interpret a creative client brief, add value and creativity to each and every shoot, create beautiful lighting and work alongside our creative retouching team, to not only create great images but to create great images within a tight deadline.
You will be part of our creative studio team, shooting everything from ecommerce to room sets to fashion and even helping to prepare photographic sets, you will be working with other high profile photographers to deliver stunning and impactful imagery.
Have 5 years commercial photography studio experience.Have extensive experience working on stylised room set studio photography.Have a strong understanding of realistic lighting.Have excellent working knowledge of Capture One and Photoshop.Have a good understanding of image colour correction.Have experience of working with creative briefs and following brand guidelines.Able to work well under pressure, have a flexible attitude and be responsive to change.Have excellent interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with peers and senior management.Able to question and influence to gain an understanding of the client’s needsHave proven ability to multi-task, working in a high pressured, fast moving environmentHave a creative flair and passion for visual composition.Video experience an advantageSelf-motivated
About The Roles Responsibilities:
Client facing position.Prioritising your tasks and communicating directly with the studio producer.Executing a high standard of photography to produce quality images ensuring the lighting/focus as appropriate for subject.Execution of setting up lighting, composition, colour accuracy, and exposure for each shot.Provide photographic tests as required.Ensuring all studio equipment is maintained and in a clean working order, communicating equipment needs/failures to the Studio Manager.Will be required to complete ad-hoc creative both on location and in studio.
