We're currently expanding, and are on the hunt for a Video & Motion Graphics Editor to join our Melbourne team. The role is primarily focused on LNWY, the new content platform we launched with St Jeromes Laneway Festival.
If you're creative, driven, have a deep passion for visual storytelling and enjoy a dog meme, you'll fit in well. The role is full time
You'll work closely with our internal content team to edit original video content output of various formats, using both original and pre-existing delivered footage.
Work with various DOPs, producers, illustrators, animators to finish videos to a high standard.
Be part of the video creation process from conception, to shoot and final edit.
Contribute to brainstorms around editorial video concepts
Create in-house videos for sponsorship and marketing purposes
Work to tight deadlines with multiple videos in production at any one time.
Need to have:
Ability to edit videos that tell a story from start to finish at a high quality
Proficient in visual effects and motion graphics to include things like title cards, animations, illustrations and various graphics within videos
Experience working with commercial clients
Experience with a range of video editing tools and software (ie: After Effects, Motion, Premiere, Final cut, Illustrator, Photoshop, Audition, Logic)
Sound mixing and colour grading skills.
Ability to work to autonomously work to a brief.
Insatiable appetite for music and cultural events.
Ability to problem solve on the fly.
