About the opportunity

The Video Editor is a member of the Brand and Marketing Services multimedia team and works collaboratively with staff across Marketing and Communications. The position is responsible for editing video content. The Video Editor provides advice on video elements of marketing and communications initiatives and plays a leadership role in ensuring that video content meets brand requirements.

In this position, you will:

  • edit a wide range of video content for marketing and communications purposes
  • produce highly engaging animations/motion graphics assets as required
  • ensure work produced meets brand requirements, is delivered within required timeframes and meets strategic objectives
  • ensure the stock footage database is well-maintained and meets strategic and user requirements

  • qualifications in multimedia, video production or equivalent relevant experience
  • demonstrated ability to edit video content that is dynamic, well-paced, strategically driven and is shaped to meet its target market
  • demonstrated ability to create and manipulate highly engaging motion graphics
  • demonstrated experience in a senior multimedia, video editing or video production role

About us

The Brand and Marketing Services team provides creative services to support marketing and communications strategic initiatives including graphic design, editorial, writing and multimedia and photography. The unit is also responsible for the provision of marketing services such as the coordination of market research, advertising and merchandising and is responsible for the development of the Universityâs brand. The team works in close collaboration with Marketing and Communications staff on a wide variety of projects and campaigns targeting a range of stakeholder segments.
