Tasmania is pursuing an ambitious marketing program for one of Australia's
hottest travel destinations and brands. We need a manager to connect people
emotionally and culturally to Tasmania by leading the delivery of our
brand-aligned content strategy and enabling the development of appropriate
content across various channels and partnerships.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Manage the creation,
curation and consolidation of appropriate brand-aligned Tasmanian
Lead, inspire and coach the
content team, encourage a collaborative and consultative work environment
and harness their energy and innovation.
Inspire and enable internal
teams, industry and external partners to create, curate and distribute
brand-aligned content to maximise Tasmania’s share of voice.
Manage the organisation’s
creative assets, content resources, budgets and contractual partnerships
to support the content strategy.
Collaborate with the
Director of Consumer Marketing, the Channel Manager and other senior
managers to deliver brand-aligned Tasmania content to consumers through
Engage the Tasmanian tourism
industry and residents and encourage a content-led approach that amplifies
their marketing effort and brand advocacy.
Represent Tourism Tasmania
locally and nationally.
WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO HAVE
The skills to execute
content strategies and push creative boundaries to achieve the desired
Experience in creating and
curating high quality brand-aligned marketing content that connects
emotionally with consumers, and an understanding of content distribution
A passion for great
communication and ability to inspire, influence and empower others by
listening, understanding, supporting, adapting and negotiating
The ability to build your
team’s capacity and responsiveness, foster innovative thinking, harness
their professional expertise and drive change.
The ability to foster
productive internal and external working relationships, and the
professional expertise needed to establish effective collegial
