Purpose of a Senior Strategist at We Are Social
primary role of the Senior Strategist is to develop, and lead, inspiring
strategies that deliver against our vision of putting social thinking at the
heart of marketing, and contribute to the development of world-class creative
output – big ideas.
a strong point of view, the Senior Strategist should be persuasive and
collaborative, bringing clients on a journey and working with creatives to
realise the potential of their thinking.
Senior Strategist should contribute to the way we approach strategy development
in order to achieve our vision, and set ourselves apart from our competitors. Lead by example, nurture talent and be a positive
force within the agency, proudly displaying the company values of honesty,
inspiring and passionate.
As a strategy lead you would be required to
develop and run strategies for clients with a high level of autonomy, so
adaptability and a ‘can do’ attitude is imperative.
Key Skills / Experience
· Strong academic performance at a tertiary level.
· Min 7 year’s experience in strategy, with strong
working knowledge of social media.
· A proven track record as an expert in all aspects of
social strategy, coupled with a high level of proficiency in brand, marketing
and business strategy.
· Connections and paid media strategy experience
· Fluency in wide range of social platforms and
· A confident and experienced presenter with the
gravitas to engage with, and persuade, senior clients.
· Experience with data analytics, able to source and
process data as well as prove effectiveness.
· Adept at briefing research or reading and interpreting
data and identifying appropriate sources to supplement existing data and
· Ability to develop and utilize strategic frameworks
and drive continuous improvement.
