Laundry Lane Productions is looking for a student or recent graduate to assist us with our social media and marketing. Experience would be an advantage however we are really looking for someone who is innovative, creative and ready for a challenge.
Whilst the internship will mainly focus on growing our social media presence there will be other tasks such as developing monthly newsletters (Mailchimp), updating database and working on developing company marketing material.
Our agency is located in Brookvale. Our office is a fun and relaxed environment and we are flexible with the times that you want to work. We do a lot of work in the charity sector so an interest in this area would also be beneficial.
Whilst the internship is unpaid this is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience and put their knowledge and skills to work.

We're looking for a social media manager to manage our social media accounts by implementing strategies and tactics that grow our followers, engage and retain them, and help convert them into leads, customers, and active fans and promoters of our company. You should have command of best practices and trends in social media marketing, enjoy being creative, and understand how to both build and convert a digital audience. As your role will include a lot of content generation we are looking for someone who doesn't mind being in front of the camera as we have an in-house studio to create content as and when the need arises.

Build and manage the company’s social media profiles and presence, including Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and additional channels that may be deemed relevant.
Create shareable content for specific networks to spread both our brand and our content.
Monitor and engage in relevant social discussions about our company, competitors, and/or industry, both from existing leads and customers as well as from brand new audiences.
Run regular social promotions and campaigns and track their success ([...]., Facebook Live Events, Twitter chats, etc.).
Work alongside other marketers and content marketers to help distribute content that educates and entertains our audience and supports marketing goals.
Drive consistent, relevant traffic and leads from our social network presence.
Explore new ways to engage and identify new social networks to reach our target buyers.
Track, measure, and analyse all initiatives to report on social media ROI.
BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
Active and well-rounded personal presence in social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
Well presented and confident
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
Proficiency in using social media software (hootsuite or similar) to monitor social media conversations. You will be our ear to the ground to ensure our product team and business as a whole are responding to our customers' needs.
Bonus experience and skills include: Adobe Creative Suite, basic video editing, demand generation, inbound marketing, and blogging.
