As a Social Media Content & Community Manager at Circul8 you will work across a number of our accounts, own & run paid media and also contribute to the Circul8 blog and social media pages. You'll need excellent communication skills, will be comfortable brainstorming and presenting ideas and you'll have a passion about staying on top of the latest social media trends. You think creatively and inject, innovative ideas into your copy crafting.
Reporting to the General Manager you will predominantly be working on clients in the tourism, travel &, leisure, environmental & sustainability and NGO industries, with a little retail, lifestyle & education thrown, in for good measure! Your day to work will include content creation, community management, social advertising, research & social media strategy, reporting & analytics, ideas generation and developing proposals to send to clients.
Community Management - Creating, managing and growing brandsâ social, presences and online properties. (Including customer support.) Developing tone of voice, acquiring a deep understanding of the strategy and ensuring its execution.
Content Creation - Creating content calendars for social media channels. (Including blog posts & articles.) Creative & copywriting.
Social Advertising - Running social advertising campaigns across Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram. Strategising, optimising, refining and reporting on results.
Analytics - Use measurement tools to provide weekly/monthly reports. Continually find ways to, improve on those metrics through testing and new initiatives.
Social Listening - Providing relevant content daily while tracking metrics and monitoring, relevant conversation.
Strategic Recommendations - Assisting with strategy projects, research and analysis, document preparation and presentation.
Our Social Media Content & Community Manager will:
Be proactive in maintaining their knowledge of emerging Social Media techniques and technologies and be capable of adopting them
Present social media strategy and reports internally and to existing and potential clients
Maintain quality control over output at all times
Work with other Circul8 staff to define metrics of assessing ROI
Research and analyse industry trends and competitors
Work collaboratively and in conjunction with the rest of the Circul8 team to meet clients needs.
Have experience in managing multiple social media communities for clients/brands within an agency environment
Have strong written, verbal and visual communication skills
Excellent spelling and grammar
Impeccable attention to detail and highly organised
Existing knowledge in how to set-up, run and optimise social advertising. (Be proficient across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram advertising formats.)
Good knowledge of Social Marketing techniques and trends
Passion for social media and everything digital
