About Broadcast & Multimedia

The Broadcast & Multimedia team is a fairly new department of Arts Centre Melbourne and have hit the ground running with servicing some of the most world renowned companies such as The Melbourne Symphony Orchestra, The Australian Ballet, Opera Australia, Melbourne Theatre Company & The Melbourne Festival as well all hiring clients of Arts Centre Melbourne and the Arts Precinct around Melbourne. We also create content for our internal Marketing team and all other internal departments.

We are currently looking for multiple people with different skill sets across camera, audio, and post-production. You will be joining our team creating content for internal departments and hiring clients, while also servicing the whole Arts district around Melbourne. Our work is diverse, ranging from filming, live performances for DVD release, artist interviews, TVCâs and animated digital content for social media.

To be successful in the Sound team you will require:

â Experience in location sound recording
â Proficient in Pro Tools, editing and mixing
â High level of professionalism and enthusiasm

To be successful in the Camera/Editing team you will require:

â Experience in Camera operation/lighting/camera stabilization systems
â Proficient in the Adobe suite (Premier, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator)
â High Level of professionalism and enthusiasm

To be successful in the Visual Effects/Graphics/Compositing team you will require:

â Experience in 2D animation/Graphics/VFX Compositing
â Proficient with the Adobe suite (Premier, After Effects, Photoshop & Illustrator)
â High level of professionalism and enthusiasm
