The Creative Services is primarily responsible for:
a) Creative function for Group Marketing Services
b) In-house studio
c) Agency and creative management

The Role:

Senior Manager - Creative Services requires a strong affinity for relationship management; ability to drive outcomes in a complex environment; and leadership capabilities.

  • Grow Creative Services function within Marketing and broader business.
  • Lead a high performing, creative team that is focused on doing things differently.
  • Foster a culture of creativity and innovation that is values driven.
  • Evolve Creative Services strategy to ensure alignment to broader Marketing strategy.
  • Build relationships with internal stakeholders and agency partners to drive best in class creative outcomes.
  • Engage with business units outside Marketing to to identify opportunities for collaboration and growth.
  • Facilitate opportunities for Marketing by generating efficient, creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and management of Creative Services function. You are responsible for:

  • Creative Services projects and strategy
  • Business engagement
  • Agency management
  • Function operations

Deliver financial and productivity benefits to the Bank, including accountability of team performance against agreed success metrics.

Implement critical decision making with an understanding of priorities and impacts to keep function tracking to vision.

Responsible for management of agency partners, including brief allocation and capability mapping, to facilitate planning and reporting.

Drive the development of creative capabilities across Marketing and agency partners, including:

  • Keeping abreast of industry trends and developments
  • Knowledge sharing with the Leadership Team and broader business stakeholders
  • Understanding of technology

Proactively drive continuous improvement by identifying and leading new opportunities to:

  • Optimise the function operating model
  • Strategically and collaboratively work with stakeholders / vendors

Collaborate with Brand to develop guidelines, templates and materials to assist with creative development and shape brand visual identity within Marketing and the Group.

Apply insights to develop solutions to creative / production problems and drive opportunities for Marketing.

Develop, partner with, and maintain a network of internal and external contacts that can be used to provide input into function strategy.

Foster a culture of high performing, creative talent that delivers quality work with speed and consistency.

Support the Creative Service Manager and Traffic Manager to manage workflow and facilitate planning / prioritisation.

Generate effective outcomes in a complex environment, including negotiation with suppliers.

What you will need to succeed:

  • Understanding of Vision and Values to effectively drive performance outcomes.
  • 10+yrs experience in marketing or similar field.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Proven track record of leading and delivering cross-function projects.
  • Ability to lead a team within a dynamic environment.
  • Ability to identify and manage business risks.
  • Successful development and implementation of function strategy to deliver measurable business outcomes.
  • Creative thinker with a focus on doing things differently.
  • In-house creative function or agency experience preferred.
