US TAKE ONE OF AUSTRALIA’S GREAT CRAFT WINE BRANDS TO THE NEXT LEVEL
Voyager Estate is one of
Australia’s most ambitious and innovative producers of world-class Chardonnay
and Cabernet Sauvignon. Our wines are all estate grown, and benefit from the unique
qualities of our place in Stevens Valley, Margaret River. Our wines are defined by our signature balance
of elegance and precision, and we make every wine with the aim to help establish Margaret River
as one of the world’s greatest wine regions and experiences.
So our passion is anchored in our wine and our
place, but our ambition requires that we focus on building a brand and brand
experience to match. And that’s where we’re looking for someone to come
and fill a unique role in the Voyager Estate team.
The role is waiting for
the right person to define it but the ultimate accountability of the role will
be to build the Voyager Estate brand and brand experience, and will cover six broad
areas of responsibility:
our design, collateral, packaging
our storytelling, language, imagery, content
our social media strategy, content and communities
our partnership and event strategies and activations
our brand and consumer PR
You will be a creative,
design-savvy brand thinker, and whilst experience in the world of wine would be
helpful you could have likely spent more time in other luxury consumer goods industries.
You will be a strong strategist and storyteller, and will need to be both a
thinker and a doer with at least ten years experience working with design and
designers. The role, most likely based in our Perth office, will work in
partnership with our team driving sales in both commercial and

you. In addition to your resume, we’d ask you to share three things with us:
Share with us some of the work you’ve done previously
Tell us about your passions and beliefs around contemporary brand
Give us your sense of your fit with the role we’ve described

Hello May, an independent magazine for the non-bridal bride, is on the hunt for a rather wonderful staff writer / online editor.
Please note knowledge or experience in the bridal industry is absolutely NOT ESSENTIAL, in fact, we'd rather you had none at all. We don't do cheesy relationship advice or gag worthy features on the best dress for your body type... We prefer to focus instead on the creative folk who make up the industry, as well as fashion, DIY and laugh out loud opinion pieces.
Working 4-5 days per week from our Southern Sydney workshop, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to...
- Reviewing submissions and press releases
- Curating content for our daily blog
- Writing blog features
- Managing our online directory
- Interviewing industry professionals (designers, photographers etc)
- Researching and writing editorial for our magazine
Best suited to a media / communications / journalism graduate, current staff writer or online editor with a love for blogging, social media and...
- A conversational writing tone (we don't take ourselves too seriously here at Hello May).
- The ability to spot a spelling, punctuation or grammar error a mile away (we are sure there are many in this advertisement).
- A can-do attitude.
- Experience using WordPress and the Adobe creative suite will be considered a bonus as will any experience with photo editing and resizing images for online publication.
Start November 2015. Work days are flexible.
Please submit your resume, along with samples of your writing via THE LOOP application process.
