GMG Digital is looking for a young and enthusiastic digital design intern (UX/UI) with a passion for all things digital and technology to join our expanding team.
As an intern you will be situated at the very forefront of the business, working closely with our web team and helping our clients build successful tech-driven user experiences that are based on validated research.

This internship will be unpaid for six months on a part-time basis (2 days a week) with the option of a lucrative full-time position available upon completion.
Assist the design team with day-to-day tasks.
To be successful in this role you should be a proactive professional with experience and skills that match the following:
- Be willing, eager, and hungry to learn about design
- be at University or just graduated
- excellent eye for design
- an interest in a variety of different areas of digital design
- have excellent written and verbal skills (must understand Australian colloquialism, slang, and grammar)
- an understanding or experience in UX/UI design
- experience in animation for digital display banners would be an advantage but not essential.

Your responsibilities will include:Use exceptional design skills to develop visual methods to convey key messages.Develop visual models to represent and communicate ideas clearly and effectively.Interpret the client brief to develop presentations that reflect both the client's brand and the objectives of the presentationLiaise with other employees to assist them in the development of their projects.Edit original presentation content to be consistent with specified, good presentation design.
Most importantly, a passionate commitment to stunning design, combined with effective presentation techniques is an essential requirement for the successful applicant.
Other than that commitment, you would need the following skills to be successful in this position:An intimate knowledge of After Effects & Premiere Pro.An understanding of what makes visual communications successful.The ability to be able to work well in a team environment and be able to combine the pressure of a deadline with a smile and the desire to have fun!As we serve a large number of Asian clients, fluency in either Mandarin, Korean or Japanese is essential (more than one is definitely an advantage). Other Asian languages would also be considered.A university degree in media or design would be considered essential also
