We are a
leading events agency based in Sydney looking for a Senior Production Manager
to join our team full time. The role will be responsible for delivering a range
of projects including special events, product launches, award shows, gala
dinners, fashion launches, conferences and incentives. This is a senior level
position and the successful candidate will be client facing.
Key responsibilities include:
Manage all technical and production event elements on
assigned projects including but not limited to;
o Staging & draping builds
o Set builds
o Rigging & access machinery
o Audio, visual & lighting
o Power management & signal
o Print production, content &
o Backline and other artist
o Crewing labour and technical
o Location and site management
o Event freight & logistics
Develop detailed working project timelines, supplier
briefs, schedules & technical drawing plans;
Management of site & equipment safety, induction
systems, risk and WH&S;
Collaborate with the Rizer creative team to ensure
concepts are translated and briefed correctly to the appropriate supplier for
Work directly with clients and Rizer’s event producers
to ensure event production requirements are met and client expectations are
Build, manage and maintain supplier relationships.
To be successful in this role you will
Intermediate Vectorworks skill is essential;
Experience with various content playback systems;
Strong supplier negotiation skills;
Excellent budgeting and financial reconciliation;
Experience with local government and council processes,
particularly Development Applications
Excellent communication (both written and verbal) and
time management skills;
Energetic, enthusiastic, innovative and results
Be proactive and able to make decisions;
Be able to problem solve and work well under pressured
Team player mentality demonstrating flexibility in
approach, with a desire to show market-leading behaviour.
