Key responsibilities include:
Development of marketing & branding visual collateral (Product Packaging, advertisements, catalogues, mock-ups, email, interface designs, advertising materials, logos & new category designs)
Management of assigned projects from, planning, brief, creative, design, release and the monitoring of results.
Fostering creative thinking - Participation in key brainstorming sessions, both production and campaign related.
The ideal candidate will have strong conceptual design skills with a keen interest in growing strategically. You are a self-starter with a disciplined approach, with the ability to artistically interpret briefs and imagine, create and produce ideas that people love. You must also have:
Relevant tertiary qualification(s) in Design
Strong portfolio of work demonstrating a high degree of creativity and diversity.
4+ years experience in a commercial graphic design role or equivalent freelance experience (Experience in the FMCG sector highly regarded)
Proficiency in the latest Adobe Creative Suite
Experience with Brand Identity and Packaging specialisation
Experience with Email Marketing (mailchimp preferred)
Product photography knowledge desirable
An exceptional eye for detail
Accurate, clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to multitask
