Who do we need?
We need a creative and talented graphic designer to help us create our print and digital design elements including everything from posters and flyers to banners, promotional material, EDM’s, Facebook campaign images, other digital images and lots in between.
We think the role would suit:
A recent graduate looking to apply their legendary design skills to a range of projects and work in a growing young team.

• Adobe Creative Suite (Mainly: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Lightroom)
• Apple Office Suite (Keynote, Pages, Numbers)
• Creating collateral imagery for social media.
• Branding exercises
• UI and UX Design both Web and Mobile
• Print Design including finished art. Knowledge of print, regarding colour destinations, set up and process.
• Keynote design and assembly. For varied types of screens and applications. Laptop to 10mx3m LED Panels.
• Photography skills are a definite plus
• Videography skills are a definite plus
• Experience in Premiere/After Effects and editing videos is a plus
You have excellent communication skills
You are super organised, intelligent and learn really quickly
You have a great sense of humour, tons of initiative and lots of energy
We give bonus points if you:
Know how to use a Macs and Mac applications. We’re Mac people, but we won’t judge you too much if you’re a PC person!

Our ideal applicant must have at least 2-4 years children's book design experience and be particularly comfortable working with picture books, illustrated junior fiction and non-fiction titles. Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, as is proficiency with Adobe CS, especially InDesign, and other relevant software on a Mac platform. Organised, self-motivated and independent, our designer will meet deadlines, cope under pressure and enjoy being part of a small team. Appropriate tertiary-level qualifications are required. This is not an entry-level or Senior position.

THE ROLE - SO WHAT IS A STEP CHANGE STRATEGIST?
This role walks the line between management consultant, account director and creative strategist. We're looking to invest in someone who wants to develop their problem-solving abilities and creative thinking. Working with a Strategy Director, you'll solve problems for 30+ clients a year, such as:How do we launch a new business/product?How do we transform a struggling business?How do we optimise our marketing spend, online and offline?How do we most powerfully tell our brand story?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIESYou’ll play an active part in client strategy workshops including developing and presenting original ideas direct to clientsYou’ll write strategy documents (following workshops) to ensure ideas and analysis are communicated powerfully and accuratelyYou’ll brief creative and digital teams to execute on ideas and concepts generated in client workshopsBeyond the brief, you’ll ensure deliverables are on strategy, meet client expectations and generate desired resultsYou’ll be both the internal project management lead and the primary day-to-day client contact
