Working for a global skincare brand you will be reporting to the Marketing Manager with a key focus on creating and managing design assets for below the line campaigns and packaging. You will be responsible for the end to end process right from capturing briefs through to concepts, design and finished art.
The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years' experience as a graphic designer within a Design or Marketing environment but more importantly understand current trends and take pride in their work. They are enthusiastic and passionate about designing a 'look & feel' for the brand and have had experience creating a range of design assets such as product packaging, POS, training manual, social media campaigns etc. which is reflected in a strong folio.
They will be a collaborative, smart designer who understands luxury and excels in a team environment providing leadership. Some projects will be highly conceptual while others will be more design and roll out focused, so they need to be able to be conceptual but then hands on and happy doing the production work.
Tertiary education in Graphic Design
4+ years of experience in Design/Marketing role
Thorough understanding of printing process to be able to create and maintain artwork
Experience writing briefs and managing photography would be advantageous
Keen eye for details with an ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects
Strong communication skills and a strategic thinker
Passion for skincare, cosmetics
Expert in design software (CS, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)

The role is responsible for designing, coding and modifying the [...] and associated sites, including the layout, functionality and design, in partnership with the Senior Graphic Designer and Digital Manager. The developer should strive to create on-brand and visually appealing sites that feature user-friendly design and clear navigation.
Key dimensions of the role are:Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using best software development practicesCreating website layout/user interfaces by using standard HTML/CSS practices within a CMS environment
1) Maintenance and development of Crumpler websites including, but not limited to e-commerce sites, blog and landing pages
2) Determining technical requirements for front-end visual website designs.
3) Design and implementation of mobile-focused solutions.

What we're looking for
We're looking for an experienced, extraordinarily talented Product Designer who is passionate product design with particular focus on conversion rate and funnel optimisation. You will be the first in house designer / UX specialist in our business and fit into a founding team which includes CEO, CTO, Head of Acquisition, Copywriter along with our development team. You'll take the lead in driving the conversion rate optimisation of our web platform, working closely alongside our Head of Acquisition who will provide valuable data driven insights with a view to rapidly enhancing and optimising all aspects of our web product and conversion funnels.
In addition to primarily focusing on the performance of our digital product we're also looking for someone who that can assist our Head of Acquisition to support ongoing advertising optimisation requirements (creative concepting for digital advertising, banner design and other digital asset creation)
