About the role
With our work extending across multiple design disciplines, we are looking for a passionate, conceptual, and experienced Senior Designer who has the ability to cover a number of areas and be willing to apply their skills and knowledge across a broad range of creative projects. Predominantly it will be design for motion, so while animation is not a requirement, a sound knowledge and understanding of it is.
Working closely with the Creative Director and actively supporting with the wider Creative and Production Team, you will take briefs and be a motivated self-starter, able to demonstrate your experience taking a raw idea, crafting it, and then bringing it to life, ensuring creative is developed within the scope of the brief. You will work well independently, but also thrive in a collaborative studio, with exceptional creative concepts, and provide attention to detail that delivers end-to-end value right through to production.
ResponsibilitiesAssisting in the concept development and direction of creative projectsDelivering visualisations, concept frames, style frames, mood boards, reference material, illustrations, sketches and storyboards as requiredAssisting in the creation of internal presentations, pitch presentations, and other design needs as they ariseAlongside the Creative Director and Art Director, pitching ideas and seeing them through to the signing off stage with clientsOffering up a range of creative routes where appropriate, as part of the creative development processIntegrating technical and visual solutions into a design concept as well as understanding the scope and the space within which you are workingCreating innovative and inspiring designs and design solutions for use by the Creative and Production TeamAchieving all requested outcomes on time Reviewing work-in-progress with the Creative Director and Art Director for advice and adjustmentBriefing other artists, motion designers, animators, compositors, illustrators when requiredLiaising with producers and studio managers to ensure smooth delivery of your workProviding clear and objective critiques of creative workDelivering compelling designsAdhering to project timelines, budgets, and briefings setCollaborating in developing creative ideasClient interaction during briefing and delivery may be requiredAssigning tasks to more junior members of the team when required

In this multi-tasking role you
will be assisting a high level busy Company Director, so you will need confident communication and organisational skills, as well as the ability to cope well under pressure in the fast paced entertainment industry. You will be an integral part of our small company, so a can-do attitude is a must!
Specific Marketing responsibilities, under
the direction of the Director, will include (but not limited to) liaison with project Advertising Agencies, PR consultants, ticketing companies, web designers, graphic designers, and event companies in relation to iEC’s exhibition
and entertainment projects. The role
will also assist with the planning, execution and monitoring of entertainment project marketing campaigns, and ticket sales strategies . You will also be
required to oversee Social Media and Digital marketing activities and having
skills in the following areas is highly desirable – basic website design experience (word press) and managing website content via our CMS; basic graphic design skills
using InDesign and photo shop; experience in managing content for our project's social media channels; and our corporate channels.
