Marketing Coordinator (Social Media and Digital)
The Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA) currently has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic, pro-active and passionate Marketing Coordinator (Social Media and Digital) to join our Communications and Marketing team. A leading brand in contemporary art and visual culture, the MCA is dedicated to showcasing the work of living artists. The Museum is rich with artwork, exhibitions, events and programs that provide endless inspiration for incredible marketing campaigns.
This position reports to the Marketing Manager and supports the Marketing team in the implementation and delivery of initiatives, campaigns and partnerships to achieve maximum exposure for the Museum, its brand, exhibitions, programs and events, and to enhance visitor experience. This role drives engagement on our digital channels with a focus on growing social media.
The person we are seeking has at least 3 years’ previous experience in a similar role, understands every aspect of social media, has a flair for copywriting and storytelling, an eye for images, strong knowledge of digital trends, be good with a camera and has a keen interest in translating audience research into results.
Proven track record in coordinating effective digital advertising and SEO / SEM campaigns, using social media platforms to increase visitation, deepen engagement and improve consumer brand recognition and knowledge of current and trending digital practice is essential.
Previous experience working within the not-for-profit/cultural sector, interest in and respect for contemporary art and artists is highly desirable.
