At the Mercer School of Interior Design, we approach education with a different perspective. In addition to providing all of the essential skills for a successful career in design, we challenge our students to think beyond the latest trends by providing them with the tools to discover their own unique styles.
What we are looking for a vibrant and energetic trainer(s) who are eager to adopt the Mercer style and share their experiences, ambition and passion with our enthusiastic students.
The position(s) we have available are 1 x Full-Time position and the other is for a Contract Trainer position for either 2 or 3 days per week (days to suit applicant).

Duties includeTeaching course content supplied by Mercer to allocated class/ classesFollowing Mercer guidelines and standards to meet teaching objectivesOverseeing/ marking interim submissions and tracking quality of workMaintaining clear communication with students with regards to due dates and submissionsStudent submission follow up for work overdueAssessing and moderating student work in final submissions according to Mercer guidelines and compliance standardsEngaging on a regular basis (on-line position) with students to monitor work and progression throughout the courseSupporting student learning with regular contact (on-line position)
