Weâre looking for an innovative, strategic media guru to join us as our Head of Media Investment, and look after Foxtelâs media budget and investment decisions across our entire product portfolio.

Your purpose

As the Head of Media Investment, you will be responsible for the allocation, tracking & performance of our media budget across Foxtel Satellite, Foxtel Now & Foxtel Broadband products. You will drive key investment decisions based on robust insights, and you will reshape Foxtelâs media function, ensuring that return on investment, innovative partnerships and efficiency form part of our day to day operations.

More specifically, your role will involve:

  • Transforming Foxtelâs media function to better understand spend impact on key business metrics, drive media innovation & efficiency
  • Planning Foxtelâs media investment by channel, making informed strategic investment decisions
  • Developing a media test & learn plan to develop insights to help inform planning
  • Running media negotiations alongside Foxtelâs Media agency
  • Driving Foxtelâs media agency relationships
  • Ensuring media CPMs are competitive
  • Securing best in class econometrics vendor in order to correlate media spend to business KPIs & develop firm understanding of performance by channel
  • Developing understanding of media channel attribution cross channel and apply to media strategy
  • Managing budget flighting, allocation, tracking & reconciliation

Your capability

  • 10+ yearsâ experience in media (internal or agency)
  • In depth understanding of the media landscape and future trends
  • Proven track record of tracking media spend to outcomes
  • Ability to build bottom up budgets based on outcomes
  • Experience working with econometrics vendors
  • Strong commercial acumen and eager to work in dynamic environment
  • Highly strategic and analytical with the ability to creatively solve complex business problems and translate to marketing solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills â able to influence and collaborate with internal & external stakeholders
