Arc@UNSW is looking for a Senior Graphic Designer / Art Director with a particular passion for big ideas and inspiring others. Our creative team looks after the marketing for a diverse range of departments, programs, events and venues that make student life at UNSW so great. We also execute work for external clients as Arc Creative.
You will be the guiding light and red pen for all our Brands. You’ll work on a wide variety of exciting (and let’s be real a few not so exciting) projects and campaigns. You'll be creating dynamic content for our socials and for the real world. Your first love will be great design, closely followed by big ideas, puns and dogs (unwork related, but we just seem to have them in the office on the regular). You’ll get to teach, inspire and work as part of a small team of talented creatives.
Arc it's the kind of place where we build castles around people's desk's for birthdays, have a pretty bad netball team, eat cake and Friday happy hours start at 5pm (ok.. 4.45pm). Located on the University of New South Wales campus, Arc is one of Australia's biggest & best student organisations and is made up of a dynamic and energetic group of people focused on providing students and clients with the best experience possible. We work hard. We expect results (but we have fun doing it).
Required skills and experience:Minimum of 6 years experience (or a portfolio that wows us)A great eye for design - you should be a brilliant designer first and foremost and a great thinker and leader in the makingExperience enforcing implementing and creating Brand GuidelinesAdvanced skills in the Adobe Creative Suite classics – ai, indd & psd and solid skills in After Effects & PremiereA great eye for design & attention to detail (this is critical)Translate Marketing thinking into Design ExecutionProven ability to lead/mentor/inspire and impart knowledge to other designers, whilst ensuring long term strategic goals and objectives are metThe ability to work quick and dirty when requiredPortfolio of work that demonstrates creative, high quality design solutions across a broad range of projects and communications that exceed client objectives and goals.A team player and the ability to work in a small, collaborative, fast paced environment with a proven ability to meet tight deadlines

Fantastic opportunity! In this exciting role you will drive creative concept, design and project manage creative output for our portfolio of brands and venues. Our ideal candidate has a good understanding of the hospitality industry and an ability to think outside the square.
About the Role:
