Our client, a distributor for several global iconic Fashion Accessory brands, is seeking a dynamic Graphic Designer to assist with developing graphics, POS and on line / social media content to showcase their brands.
The role will require you to create content that is on brief, ensuring products are showcased creatively through POS, Catalogues, eDM, Social and online content. Working with management it will be your responsibility to bring these brands to life through showcasing their beauty and style to retail buyers and the consumer.
Responsibilities will include;Develop, design and deliver marketing collateral in line with guidelines and to brief.Generate content for POS, Catalogues, on line / social mediaEdit / retouch photosContribute to the development of digital assets to be used across websites and digital marketing campaignsEnsuring all work is on brand, meets the brief and hits the communication targetCreating assets that demonstrate a balance of creative flair and commercial understandingPreparing print-ready artwork for a variety of mediums such as advertising lay-outs, brochures, catalogues, POS
The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, be creative but can follow guidelines and a marketing brief. You will be creative but practical and be able to structure your time to meet deadlines.
You will have advanced skills in Adobe Suite CS6 (Photoshop, Indesign, illustrator) knowledge of Microsoft office Word, Excel, Powerpoint
Hours will vary depending on what time of year and where the business is at in their marketing cycle. Product ranging traditionally occurs May - July and November - January other times it will average 15 hours per week. During peak times up to 30 hours.
This role would suit someone who is seeking a flexible working week or who is currently studying. Our client is happy to work hours around a study schedule as long as the work is of high quality and delivered on time and on brief. You will have relevant tertiary qualifications or are currently completing your tertiary qualifications.

Entertainment is on the hunt for the next Podcasting superstar.
Podquest is an initiative designed to uncover new
and emerging talent in the audio entertainment space. In an Australian
first, NOVA Entertainment are inviting aspiring podcasters to share their style
of storytelling and have their idea turned into a podcast series that will be
available on our suite of digital platforms.
In March NOVA launched the Nova Podcast platform, a
portfolio of podcasts including optimised show content, original productions in
non-radio categories and podcast series specifically created for brands. Now
Nova has announced details of Podquest, a competition created to provide
opportunities for new and emerging audio content creators through grants of
financial assistance as well as access to NOVA Entertainment’s production
facilities, technical expertise and distribution channels.
Aspiring podcasters will be able to load a podcast
on the [...] website until Friday 19 May to be eligible to win. All applicants
will be judged by an industry panel with 10 finalists revealed by Friday 26
The best entry will be judged by an external panel
of industry experts, including Adam Martin, Acast’s Chief Content
Officer and an international podcast expert, based on Originality, Narrative,
Hosting, Commercial Viability and Audience potential. The winner will be
notified by Friday 2 June 2017.
The winning podcaster will receive $5k cash plus $5k
worth of studio and production time, and help from industry experts to bring a five
part podcast series to life.
