We have an exciting opportunity for a Finished Artist to join our growing team, based in our beautiful Port Melbourne head office. Reporting to the Studio Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with our talented designers to produce high quality finished art for our beautiful and unique products.
The main accountabilities for this role include, but are not limited to:delivering flawless print-ready finished art for our varied range of products and packagingbeing accountable and responsible for meeting personal and team deadlinesmanaging proofreading, editing and approvals processesmaintaining and improving the teamâs processes and templatesmaintaining best practices in file and asset managementsharing technical knowledge with the wider team and advising on print-related queries
The successful applicant will:have a minimum of 4 yearsâ experience working as a finished artist for print applicationsbe an expert in Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshophave excellent typography and layout skills, and pixel perfect attention to detailhave experience building complex InDesign documents, such as books or diarieshave an advanced understanding of printing and production methods for various materialshave a passion for improving processes and designing templateshave a passion for finished art, with no desire to move into designtake pride in producing high quality and consistent outputbe highly organised and appreciate a well-formatted Excel spreadsheetdemonstrate strong communication skills, problem solving skills, and the ability to think on your feet and take initiativedemonstrate an ability to innovate and learn new skillslove stationery and have a passion for contemporary design
