Who Are You?
This role oversees content development & maintenance projects, ensuring consistency with the Pet Circle brand. A key focus will be to make sure that Pet Circle content is up-to-date & ahead of competitors across all mediums including online, print & media relations.
Writing and curating content that is search engine optimised (SEO), in HTML format and using keyword research to achieve the most effective content for customer acquisition.
Establishing & maintaining pipelines to ensure all necessary product range content is displayed in an accurate & timely manner, onsite and in print catalogue.
Sourcing, updating, uploading & ongoing revision of product descriptions, images & videos.
Understanding & implementing strategic directives as given to you by the Product Manager.
Using web traffic analysis to help determine content priorities, whilst measuring and commenting on the performance of past work.
Work with Marketing, Merchandising, and Technology teams to curate custom pages for new ranges and onsite promotion, whilst enhancing content engagement on existing pages through the use of charts, infographics and best design practices.
Work with Marketing Director to develop the Pet Circle brand. This includes developing public relations for content production on 3rd party websites such as media outlets and bloggers.
Work with Product Manager to improve and maintain relevance of all general information pages such as FAQs, Shipping and ‘About Us’ pages.
Work with Product Manager to implement content based projects, such as user generated content (UGC) onsite display, or new information-focused websites.
Degree in Product Management, Journalism, Marketing, or similar.
Content writing / editorial experience – overseeing or coordinating written content like articles, digital publishing, or similar.
Digital content management experience.
