Tigerspike Melbourne is looking for an experienced Senior UX Designer with outstanding strategy and UX design skills. You should posses the ability to dive into solving complex business challenges for our clients and architecting innovative, effective solutions. Your professional experience should cover all phases of the experience design process ranging from Discovery, Definition, Design to Deployment.
The ability to manage high profile projects is key; including leading a project design team that consistently exceeds expectations. Every member of our design team sits somewhere in the spectrum of experience design, acting as a leader in their specialty, but also contributing to every part of the process. Key ResponsibilitiesLead the UX for client engagements and guide a project team of designers to create high-end, innovative UX solutions and experiencesConduct and lead effective research including; heuristic analysis, competitive/market analysis, user/stakeholder interviews, analytics assessment and the creation of personas/user journeysDemonstrate strategic thinking when it comes to design recommendations based on best practices, user research and usability discoveries and business value. Define and lead the information architecture for complex content solutionsDefine and lead the creation of complex experience design solutions from user flows and UX concepts to detailed wireframes.Formulate and conduct usability testing, analyzing results and extracting design recommendationsUnderstand and recognize the importance of how data and analytics can inform design solutionsPresent to clients and effectively walk them through the experience design solution and our UX design processPrepare and facilitate on-site and off-site UX design and discovery workshops to capture key business and user requirements and insightsEffective individual and project team time management to meet necessary deadlinesReview client presentations and deliverables to ensure the highest quality of work is showcasedWork closely with the Project Manager to ensure that the design effort is on track and within the specified timelineWork collaboratively with all disciplines throughout the entire lifecycle process to ensure a holistic and seamless deliveryBe an integral part of our experience design team, continually helping to refine and evolve our UX design process, staying up to date on the latest design and technology trendsBe a mentor to junior designers, providing guidance and professional development direction when needed

will work closely with Brand Manager & Directors to both develop &
execute carefully targeted digital campaigns, EDMs and strategies with a key
KPI to deliver increased sales and database reach.

Key Skills & Experience:
Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar role
Intermediate – Advanced Adobe Indesign, Photoshop,
Knowledge of Adobe Flash skills would be an asset
Intermediate – Advanced retouching and photography
Highly developed design skills
Demonstrated creativity and conceptual design skills
for the relevant customer groups
Excellent attention to detail
Admin skills essential
Copy writing skills would be an asset
Advanced communication skills (articulates well via
phone, email and meetings)
Good reporting skills
Team player ‘can do’ attitude
Ability to manage multiple projects, meet tight
deadlines and work well under pressure
