Communications Advisor (Education and Health)

ACU is looking for a motivated communications advisor who is keen to bring to life the innovation and breakthroughs ACU staff develop.

A natural storyteller, you will work with the communications leads in Health and Education to find, promote and share the ACUâs latest research and projects and their importance to real people.

The Marketing and External Relations Portfolio encompasses Communications and Creative Services; Digital Experience; Future Students and Advancement; and Market Insights.

As Communications Advisor, you will contribute to the development and implementation of publicity programs and identify potential opportunities for promoting the University in media and other communication channels.

To be successful in the role you will need to demonstrate:

  • a relevant undergraduate degree in the area of marketing, public communications or journalism with experience in media, public relations; or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training
  • a range of media experience and networks
  • experience in successfully working collaboratively
  • the ability to develop and maintain strong relationships internally and externally
  • experience securing media and publicity outcomes
