This is BD is looking for an Art Director to join our creative department. Reporting directly into the Executive Creative Director, this is an integrated creative position with a focus on art direction and design. Youâll be confident in creatively leading and acting as a creative voice for your (and the agencyâs) work.
As someone who loves a challenge, you have a natural flair for thinking of contextually rich and meaningful ideas for the agency and its clients. As a creative with a focus on art direction and design, you will have the ability to draw and mac up an idea to a level that it can be sold and produced. You will have proven skills and effectiveness using any channel â across retail, social, digital to brand and beyond. Importantly, you can promote the benefit and simplicity of your ideas and communicate this both internally and externally, taking stakeholders on a creative journey.
You will be responsible for contributing to the creative excellence of the agency, developing and producing creative concepts from brand campaigns to integrated projects. Itâs worth noting that âcreative excellenceâ isnât a term we throw around lightly: weâre want to continue to build a collection of outstanding, world class work â work that gets talked about, wins awards locally and globally, and makes our clients (and us!) famous.
You will probably have around 4+ yearsâ experience in an agency environment as an Art Director. You have a solid understanding of creative development processes, including conceptual development as well as digital, retail, print, TV and brand experience. You think having skills in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop is âbase-campâ. Youâll be as happy sweating the small stuff as you are creating great ideas at speed. Importantly, youâll have a portfolio of work that excites and inspires us.
