We are on the search for an unconventionally creative and meticulous Graphic Designer & Digital Content Creator to help cultivate our brand’s aesthetic presence and take our image to the next level. Creating captivating visual concepts for the vast array of communication channels and platforms across digital and non-digital, you will ensure the Bondi Sands key brand message, identity and values visually translate and standards consistently applied. Just like our self-tanning mitt, you will wave your magic over a body of global design work that will see our Australian spirit bounce right off the page... and right off the shelves!
Working closely with the Senior Brand Manager and Digital Brand Manager, you will translate brand objectives through the following tasks:Help direct the Bondi Sands brand visual identity for a global marketDevelop & maintain cohesive visual language across all touch pointsInterpret creative direction and strategize on how to best deliver our key message through choice of colour, layout, image & font that engages with our target audienceConceptualise and execute exceptional on-brand digital and non-digital graphic designs that translates across multiple channels including:Presentation and promotional material for retailers; in-store, POS collateral, catalogues, and postersDesign digital assets and visual content for e-commerce website, EDM's & social media platforms which embody the brand aestheticAssist with videographyPhoto editing, cropping, compositing, retouching and colour correction.Product packaging that maintains key design elementsOnline animation and interactive mediaCreate a brand guardian system that ensures all design work is on brand and delivered to the highest standards

Whilst your qualifications and experience in Graphic Design across both digital and non-digital communication are essential elements to your appeal, it will be your portfolio of accomplished designs that have contributed to brand success that will truly catch our eye. Design skills in packaging and animation are our highly desirables, but not a deal-breaker if you possess the rest. As a true brand artist, you will love to push creative boundaries and bring new ideas and concepts to the table. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can work to tight timeframes. You will be part of the placemaking (wayfinding and signage) team in Melbourne, working on international projects. These projects include Large Public Realm Placemaking & Wayfinding Masterplanning, Mixed-use Sites, Galleries & Museums and Hotels.
As Creative Designer you will support other designers within the team and play a key role in developing strong creative solutions to projects.
Managing the design of a project from concept sign off through to implementation, collaboration and providing creative solutions for manufacturer.
Applying a creative solution to placemaking through to production.
Working with the Design Director to ensure efficient output of creative is developed within approved timelines, schedules and budgets. Prepare mock-ups and samples for presentations to clients and other stakeholders.
Further develop an interest in creative culture and community across multiple disciplines (for example from film to contemporary art).
Further develop your skills in design, wayfinding and signage design, knowledge of production techniques and procedures, and stay up to date and competent with the latest software.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
Minimum 3 years experience, some of which must be in a top tier design studio specialising in wayfinding and signage.
Experience with Architecture and Building sectors.
Design documentation and contract administration experience.
Knowledge of manufacturing process and suppliers/consultants.
Strong architectural & signage design experience.
Advanced level of one or more: Sketch up, Rhino, 3ds max, Keyshot, Autocad, Cinema 4D, Inventor.
Strategic thinker with a creative flair.
A passion for design and the industry.
Platform: Macintosh, Advanced Level, Adobe Creative Suite: Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, etc. Intermediate Level, Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel.
Helpful to have Intermediate level of one or more of the following: Sketch up, Rhino, 3ds max, Keyshot.
Salary: 80K package subject to talent dependent.
