The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV) is seeking talented Motion Graphics Designers, with experience in motion graphics design for film, television, web and events. A high level of experience and technical ability in Adobe after Effects is essential to the role.
Successful candidates should have:Experience working in a fast paced motion graphics production environment, and a strong skillset enabling you to design and develop motion graphics elements according to tight schedules with short turnaround times.Portfolio of work demonstrating strong technical ability and use of modern motion graphics design techniques, and creative and typographic design capability.Strong skillset in Adobe After Effects, in particular working with designing and managing templates. The candidate must also have good knowledge of productivity plugins, alongside having basic knowledge of scripting.A passion for motion graphics and art in general, with excellent knowledge of current trends, an excellent eye for detail, and the ability to adhere to style guides. The candidate must be highly organised and adapt to new workflows easily.Experience working in a team production environment, where organisation and sharing of project and working files is imperative to efficient production workflow.Experience working with large, non-standard canvas sizes and resolutions, multi-screen synchronized displays, projection mapping is essential. Experience with Resolume or other live playback software will be viewed favourably.Experience in 3D design and animation, camera operation and cinematography, video editing and post production, and special effects production will also be viewed favourably.
