Reporting to the Head of Digital and Innovation and based in Sydney this position will work as part of a growing dynamic digital team to develop, test, deploy and maintain new and existing web-enabled solutions and digital projects in support of achieving Pacific Magazines' business transformation.
You will be the primary point of contact to identify and manage all Pacific Magazine's internal and client driven digital executions, as well as manage a team of digital developers and system architects with a view to evolve Pacific Magazine's technology platforms to ensure a wide coverage of devices in ground-breaking ways, increasing our standards and quality of our processes.
As the successful candidate, you will have strong knowledge of current best practices, industry trends and business benefiting approaches to designing, developing and deploying connected systems. Experience with enterprise level content management systems for the provision of multiple web sites, as well as demonstrated experience in managing capital and operational budgets are a must.
You will also have a proven track record in project management; knowledge of timelines and resources required to execute web design and development activities.
Ideally you will have extensive commercial experience in the web design and development industry and several years' experience in a management role leading web design and/or development teams. You are a highly effective individual, who thrives in a fast paced and changing environment.

Reporting to the Head of Digital and Innovation and based in Sydney this position will be responsible for scoping, developing, testing and deploying new software applications to meet Pacific Magazines business requirements. You will also be required to undertake research, design, documentation and the modification of software specifications throughout all stages of the Digital Production lifestyle.
Central to this role also involves working on a complete application stack from OS/Platform/Infrastructure/Application Design/Coding and will require development skills from front end, back end, middle ware to databases as well as developing and deploying process automation for all phases of the development lifecycle.
Experience in facilitating Scrum/Agile/Lean methodology as well as Enterprise level CMS would be an advantage.
