I have forgotten my username or password
Click 'Log in' in the top right-hand corner of the homepage. Under the 'Username' & 'Password' boxes is a link to 'Forgotten Password/Username', simply click this and follow the prompts.
My username or password is not working
The password is case-sensitive, so be sure to use CAPS where appropriate. If you've forgotten your username or password, simply click 'Forgotten Password/Username' on the login page, below the username, password boxes to retrieve your username or password.
Can I change my username?
Usernames get deeply embedded to the site to ensure you and your work can be searched and found easily. As such we usually don't change them. If you really need your username changed, first make sure that the new username you require does not belong to anyone else (you can do a simple search to verify this), then send an email to our support team. We cannot gurantee that we can always change the username to what you require.
How can I delete my account?
How can I change my primary profession?
Login, click your name in the top right-hand corner, then click 'Settings' from the drop down list. Click 'Edit Profile' then scroll down to 'Profession' and hover over the profession you want to make primary. Click 'Edit' then tick 'This is my Primary Profession'. Press 'Save' and then Save Changes at the bottom of the page.
How do I turn on/off email notifications?
Login, click your name in the top right-hand corner, then click 'Notifications' from the drop down list. Select 'Yes' or 'No' according to your preferences. Click 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page.
How do I change my email address?
Login, click your name in the top right-hand corner, then click 'Settings' from the drop down list. Click 'Edit Account'. Delete your old email address from the 'Email Address' field and type in your new one. Then 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page.
How do I reset my password?
Login, click your name in the top right-hand corner, then click 'Settings' from the drop down list. Click 'Change Password'. Type in your old password and your new password in the respective fields and then confirm your new one and click 'Save Changes'
What is a Pro Account?
Pro is an upgrade which can be purchased by all 'people' users to enable extra features that are designed to bring you more commercial opportunities from The Loop and make you stand out from the crowd. As we grow we will continue to add value to your Pro account that boosts your creative career.
How do I upgrade to Pro?
Follow the links on the site to the Pro page and press ‘Go Pro’ button to upgrade

How do I manage my Pro Account?
To manage your Pro account login to your profile and select ‘Manage Pro: Update Subscription’ from your logged in settings dropdown Or via your ‘Settings’ located on the right hand side of your dashboard.
How do I cancel my Pro Account?
We're sorry to hear you want to cancel. You can end your Pro subscription and revert to a free Basic account at any time.
If you cancel your Pro subscription and return to a free Basic account, you are able to retain your profile, projects, portfolio, connections, and other data.
To cancel Pro:
1. Login to your profile and select ‘Manage Pro: Update Subscription’ from your logged in settings dropdown
2. Click on ‘Cancel Your Subscription’ link to the right hand side of Move to Yearly billing
3. Your Pro account will remain active until your next billing cycle where it will end
Don’t worry, you can flick back to a Pro User anytime you like.
What does it cost?
$5 per month or $50 per year ($4.16 per month)
No hidden fees or charges.
What happens if I don't have a Pro account?
The simple answer is nothing. You can still do all the things you normally do on The Loop like apply for jobs / gigs and connect with others to build your network. All your portfolio and projects will remain exactly the same as they are now.
Just a quick heads up. A Pro user will never appear higher in a search result. You can't pay and will never be able to pay to appear higher in a search result. Our algorithm will never prioritise Pro Users.
What are my payment options?
Monthly and annual billing cycles are available. Billing cycle date information is available on your Manage Account page including your next payment date. If you choose to pay annually, you'll save up to 16% compared to paying monthly.

How do I change my card billing information?
You can add, edit, or delete payment information for Pro accounts
What is The Loop's Pro refund policy?
We apologize for any inconvenience but we do not provide refunds on any fees or charges related to your Pro account, including partially used periods and bank/merchant fees.
An exception we may consider is providing a refund when we've updated your payment information and there are good reasons to believe that you didn't intend for an update to be made.
If for some unforeseen reason your complete access to our services is unavailable for a continuous period of more than 24 hours you may be eligible for a credit of a prorated amount for the period of the service outage. For avoidance of doubt if you are unable to access our services due to problems not related to The Loop then you are not eligible for a refund or credit of any nature.
What should I do if I find a billing error on my account?
If you think there has been a billing error please contact us (email@example.com)
Please provide as much info as you can including your username, full name, email address associated with your profile and plan type ie monthly or annual plan. Missing information can delay our ability to identify you and any issue.
We will respond asap and investigate any billing issues promptly.
How do I get an invoice or a receipt for my billing history?
You can access your invoices by logging into your profile and going to ‘Invoices’ on the top right hand side of the loggedin navigation. Here you can view and download all invoices.
How do I get a promo code for my Pro subscription?
Promo codes may be periodically emailed out to targeted eligible members.
HOW DO I CHANGE OUR COMPANY EMAIL ADDRESS?
Login, click your username in the top right-hand corner, then click 'Settings' from the drop down list. Click ' Edit Account'. Delete your old email address from the 'Email Address' field and type in your new one. Then 'Save Changes' at the bottom of the page.
HOW DO I RESET OUR COMPANY PASSWORD?
Login, click your user name in the top right-hand corner, then click 'Settings' from the drop down list. Click 'Change Password'. Type in your old password and your new password in the respective fields and then confirm your new one and click 'Save Changes'
HOW DO I EXPIRE JOB/S?
Login and click 'Jobs' in the main navigation. Click 'Manage Jobs' and on the right-hand side of your job listings you will see the option to 'Expire Now', click this.
How do I contact people on The Loop ?
You need to create a free ‘Company Profile’ before you can contact people in The Loop.
Once registered simply login and browse ‘People’ profiles from across the site, if you want to headhunt someone direct simply send them a ‘Handshake’ by clicking the small envelope icon under their profile picture in the People listings and start chatting directly. A handshake costs $25
HOW DO I POST A GIG?
Simply click the ‘POST A Gig’ button at the top of the page. Select from one of our most popular Gigs (or select from the list of professions and Gig types).
Select a title and description for the Gig that will make it easy creatives to understand your objectives. Complete the other fields.
If you’re already a member, you can sign in. New users can create an account on the same page.
Then you can preview your Gig. If you’re happy with everything, you can pay for the Gig and publish it.
You’ll begin receiving applicants once your Gig is published. If you get stuck, just email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
WHAT IS A GIG?
A Gig is a short job with a specific outcome (a logo, and illustration, a website etc). Gigs can be performed onsite or remotely.
HOW DO I APPLY FOR A GIG?
You can search for Gigs from the top menu bar. When you’ve found a Gig you’d like to apply for, simply click the ‘apply’ button. We suggest applying with your Loop contact and resume details and leaving a brief message for the employer.
HOW DO I KNOW IF MY GIG APPLICATION WAS SUCCESSFUL?
Once you apply for a Gig, you’ll receive a notification. The employer will then be able to contact you to discuss the project in more detail. The employer will let you know if they’d like to employ you for the Gig.
HOW DO I AWARD MY GIG?
Awarding a Gig is as easy as responding to the application and making an offer.
