1: Branding Identity: Colophon Book Store -
A small supplier of stationery, magazines and books with a focus on design. Located in the port city of Fremantle and half way down a long busy street the emphasis was on building a brand that would reference its surround whilst remaining iconic and flexible.
2: Packaging: Wine Bottles -
Following the idea of a wine bottle as a make shift rolling pin this packaging exercise draws on other 'rolling pins' that have played a prominent part in history - namely the Jacquard Loom and then the computer punch cards that grew from this concept. Treating the idea of tradition as a 'program' this packaging is an unfamiliar take on the 'heritage' style branding that saturates the market.
3: Print: The Student -
What did study feel like for me? A (slightly) self reflective series of hand made postcards with which to mark my transition out of being a student. These were designed and then screen printed in short runs with the aim of sending them out as a little thank you to people I'd found supportive.
