Responsible for running the Avant Card design studio, I have become a great asset to the
company. I have lead the creative direction for the company. My duties have included
working on campaign design, conceptualising ideas and taking them through design to
production, managing the studio workload, the Avant Card website, freelance and print
production schedules. I have also been great at communicating with staff and clients,
Shown great problem solving skills and project management.
Notable Achievements: 6 of my designed campaigns won a Postcard of Month award, 2 of
which went on to win the Postcard of the Year award.
joined Avant Card after executing the concept and creative for the successful 2011
campaign ‘BEEs NEEDs’ which won Postcard of the Year. In this role I gained great
knowledge of the printing process, paper stocks, techniques for paper manipulation and
developed my creative thinking, conceptualising and ideation. I have displayed excellent
verbal and written communication with clients, printers and other employees.
Responsible for graphic design of 7 national attractions including:
SEALIFE Sydney Aquarium, Wildlife Sydney, The Sydney Tower Eye,
Madame Tussauds Sydney, Manly SEALIFE Sanctuary.
My tasks included designing brochures, attraction and city maps, advertising collateral, school
work sheets, on site signage, wraps that included building exterior walls, transport vans and
the Sydney monorail, web tiles. Creating new assets and collateral for holiday campaigns and
working special exhibitions. Updating animal Identification graphics. Presenting ideas to drive
sales and enhancing customer experience. Photographing animals and events.
In my time as freelance graphic designer for Sydney Tower my work included, Illustration
and layout for the visitors’ guide, movie posters, rubber stamps and packaging design,
The aim, create an exciting and interactive way to advertise The LEGO Movie. My concept of a 3 tier spinning wheel card that let's you mash up the LEGO Minifigure characters from the film was the perfect answer to Roadshow's brief. How to make a 3D toy as interactive and fun on a 2D plane. The campaign was a huge success. From 50,000 cards printed and distributed through Avant Card’s network, only 313 were returned for re-distribution. The design went on to win Avant Card’s Postcard of the Year award.
Out of the 12 finalists, Sydney Wildlifeworld took the number one spot to claim a trophy prize and $20,000 of advertising with Avant Card. The postcard is printed on a custom-made stock that is 100% recycled and embedded with seeds of the native flower Callistemon citrinus (Lemon-scented Bottlebrush). The postcard can be planted in soil and if cared for correctly, flowers will grow.
The Drum Media and Street Press Australia competition requires entrants to illustrate an act from the line-up of the festival. The winning illustration is used on the magazines front cover that month. My illustration was selected out of all the entries in NSW as the winner.

I am a mid/senior level designer with 8 years of professional experience. In my current role I manage a small design team in a busy studio. I am responsible for managing creative campaigns from the brief through to completion.
I have had the pleasure of working with a wide range of clients from all sorts of industries. My role is to ensure clients are provided with creative solutions and high quality design. I pride myself on my ability to think creatively, to lead a team but also be and active and supportive team member.
I am the kind of designer that hears the brief, immerse myself deep into the project and comes up with the kind of solutions that can make the project own-able, recognisable to the brand and the purpose it is intended for. Think, what has been done before? How can we make it better? And what can we do to inspire the words “Wow, that’s different”.
