Based in Hobart, Tasmania Emma explores ways to use concrete in jewellery. She has found a way re-purpose rubble from demolition sites as a memento of place that once existed. Rather that using precious stones in her work, the value is held in the integrity of the design. As her work develops further, Emma has begun to embed smart phone activated codes in jewellery to give jewellery objects a 'voice'.
