Freelance Illustrator. Bit of a designer. Like doing my own creative thinking. Best stuff is for childrens' books and brands. Do editorial stuff too. Do ad's. Make paper graffiti and put it around the world. Makes people smirk.

Never serious in life. Gets me in trouble. Never serious with illustration. Seems to work to my advantage. Try to snap people out of living like a zombie. Make them pay attention and get involved with products, concepts, feelings.

Think quick. Draw pretty quick. Finish whole projects quick enough. They aren't finished unless perfect. Do digital. Do print. Do hand drawn. Do vector. Do original. Do collaborate. Do work on my lonesome. Don't work without podcasts playing. Work out of The Hallway offices. Work out of home. Happy to work out of your place. Love being in Sydney. Love getting paid to do what I love surrounded by the people I love.

    2015

With the cricket world cup poised to start The Guardian asked me to accompany an article on some of the more elaborate and out-of-the-box shots to look out for with illustrations.

They wanted a cool colour scheme that reflected the colours and style of The Guardian. I used a simple and flat style to not over-power the article.

These shots require a lot of movement and so to make the shot clear I added arrows and 'ghost' images within the still images to illustrate just how the shot is carried out.

    2014

DDB Adam and Eve asked me to create images to captivate audiences on Lipton's social media. I needed to take photo's and then re-imagine them with adventurous new environments. The campaign was to show how drinking Lipton Tea can lead you to see life in a different, more exciting, less mundane way. I also completed a series of visual layouts for pitching TV campaigns.
