The brief was proposed by the design agency Amnesia Razorfish. Amnesia gave Touch Point a fairly broad brief, which was to focus on the kitchen, and how the surfaces within it would be used in the future. The main focus was on conceptualizing blue sky concepts based on future and emerging multi-touch technologies.
Our concept is based around the idea that the kitchen is a place for social interaction as well as preparing food, and the features we’ve chosen to include reflect this. Our multi-touch application is essentially a recipe browser that allows users to view information about recipes, ingredients, and household members in a more visual and easy to understand way.
My role: Producer
The link between the front end and back end. Acknowledge feasible ideas between team members skills and finalise feature cuts as necessary. Manages, schedule meetings, keep team members relations well with destress methods and workload. Communicates with lecturer for requirements and gives the team the extra push needed to stay up to date and in communication. Design consult, Visual support, Photographer, Video recorder and Video editor.
