I am currently assisting Justin Yang (in house designer) at Crazy Technology.
I assist with digital / motion graphic assistant, copy writer, content creator, and social media.
I have been employed with Etihad Lounge at the Sydney Airport since grand opening. I was able to practice provide service.
I have trained new team members and introduce guest to this airline. I have also temporary stand in for a supervisory position for a one month annual leave request.
Cafe Sydney has given me many opportunities to practice what I have learnt, as well as leading me further into the areas of my interest. My understanding of grape varietals for wine has deepens, the interests extends into other alcoholic beverages such as beer, spirits, digestives
and finer areas into food and service.
My main position was front of house waitress, I also accept to work as the lead expeditor, I regularly assist with the hosting department, where I took and confirmed reservations,
prepare menus and directed guests.
I was later promoted to team leader, where my tasks also includes covering breaks and
leading the team to open and close the restaurant.
Throughout the employment, this employer has not only supported and lead me into areas of current interests, they were also understanding of my future interests in design and it's industry. They constantly brought attention to the relation of current work position and future employment in a different industry, this culture is often exercised with other employees who are studying and/or aspiring to different areas within or outside the industry.
I have received many start up training for fine food, wine, and service procedures at Rockpool. I have also learnt about working in industry, it's community and job description and allocations.
I have really enjoyed working with Starbucks, it has well cultivated culture and a good mix of fresh minded people.
My job is barista and store person, my tasks included making cold and hot beverage, register operation, service of food and coffee beans.
I joined Starbucks upon grand opening, the day always seems easy because the job is customer orientated, so most of the time, we do drink samples and company promotions.
Alex Drayton came up with the idea, we ( Nick Coppola and I ) came up with the design outcome.
