I am a graphic designer, illustrator, photo editor and
pre-press operator from Adelaide, South Australia
with a postgraduate degree in Art and Design
(Illustration) and a Bachelor’s degree in Visual
Communications from UniSA. I have experience
with photo editing, typesetting, graphic design
and preparing files for digital press. Outside of work
I am contracted by Mitsubishi motors to prepare
their service and warranty booklets for printing.
As a freelancer I often design and illustrate T-shirt
graphics, greeting cards and invitations.
With the last three years of design behind me
and four years of studying the art of visual
communications completing a bachelor’s degree
and a graduate diploma, I have discovered that
I love what I do. I care about creating anything
visual from designing yearbooks to editing
photographs to illustration and typography.
Until mid-June, I was working full time at Academy
Photography as a Senior Studio Operator and Team
Leader. In this position, I had the responsibilities
of managing a small team, editing photographs,
designing marketing material, developing new
procedures and creating, designing and editing
yearbooks. From this role I have become very
proficient in using Adobe Photoshop, InDesign,
Illustrator and Lightroom. After 3 years of
employment with Academy Photography I made
the decision to actively seek a new position that
would develop my skills even further.
