About Christian

Christian is an Australian filmmaker that grew up on high sugar cereals and Saturday morning cartoons. He's inspired by imaginative high concept television and cinema. With ten years experience in various areas of film and television production; Christian produced his first film throughout 2014, the indie sci-fi Arrowhead -an interstellar survival story of a stranded mercenary who discovers a deadly secret on a seemingly deserted moon. The film went onto sell globally throughout Europe and Asia in 2015, was released in Australia a year later, and a year after that released in Canada and the U.S.

In 2016, Christian was commissioned by the critically acclaimed classical music trio Anon, to Produce and Direct the fifth segment of an original piece of music known as Trailer Music II, written by prominent composer and conductor Nicholas Buc. The clip premiered to a sold out audience during the 2016 Melbourne Music Week and took part at the 2017 St Kilda Film Festival.

Christian loves developing projects and collaborating with other talented filmmakers. One such project in development is Recoil, a six episode series about six diverse, everyday Australians caught at defining moments of their lives, and how they come into possession of an old revolver once belonging to Australia’s infamous bushranger, Ned Kelly - Six Bullets, Six Stories, One very unique Gun. Another project in development is Return Flight, a proof of concept coming of age fantasy adventure series designed for SVOD, based upon the pilot spec script he wrote set in a bygone era of Australian history. It’s the untold story of how a dishonourable test pilot got his wings, told from the perspective of his mixed-up teenager daughter.

He is also currently in post-production as a producer on two other projects. The first is a crime drama short film tilted Incubator; about a quiet, conservative boy plucked from his school by his estranged and dangerous mother, who, through a series of tests in an isolated country house, will give him the chance to begin a new education — as a modern-day bank robber. The second project is an indie film, the sci-fi drama, Quanta -recently picked up by sales agent Odin’s Eye Entertainment. It's about a physicist's life-long work coming to fruition when he's reluctantly partnered with a gifted young grad-student; however, ego divides them when they receive an unknown signal from space.

Christian aims to develop more compelling cinematic stories for both Australian and international audience that captivate, evoke and inspire. His heart that lies in story telling, whether that be Producing, Writing or Directing.
