Since 2010 I have operated my own freelance design business specialising in brand, campaign and communication strategy, logo design, print media, and web design and development.
Since May 2010 I have been in a design position with ASM Liquor, originally as a freelancer working from my home on the Central Coast and more recently as an in-house designer. My current duties include designing concept product packaging, concept designs for re-branding existing products, promotional give-aways, event posters, cocktail menus, and social networking promotions. I see each of these projects from start to finish and prepare them for print with both local and overseas suppliers and printers.
Banjo has given me a new perspective on the design process. They introduced me to a larger advertising agency environment in a more specific role, allowing me to appreciate the merits of each stage in a project. With a chance to learn technical skills that rarely brushed over in tertiary study and a peak behind the curtain of new departments and brilliant minds, it was a great experience and I loved every minute of it.
Uberbrand was a great step into the studio world; with some fantastic mentors and opportunities to work on large scale projects and illustration work. My time here was short but it didn’t go without a lot of lessons learnt and a kick of inspiration to drive me on to the next stage in my career.
I am currently working with Oxfam Australia's youth engagement program as a design intern. My duties here involve designing the visual communication materials for some of the youth programs such as Design For Change and Close The Gap.
For eight months I was a design Intern at online mens magazine Essential Groom. In this role I was required to carry out the design process for website content such as switchers, banner ads, media kit etc. Having the opportunity to create actual designs for the company and be part of the process from brief, creation, and approval to upload, has been an invaluable experience in understanding how a commercial designer works.

I have a Bachelors Degree in Applied Design (Communication) from Billy Blue College of Design and have been working in the industry for five years.
I’ve completed two internships and freelanced full time for a year with a wide variety of clients focusing mostly on branding and packaging.
Over the last year I’ve been rounding out my skills working as a Finished Artist & Designer at Banjo Advertising. With some large scale projects under my belt from both a technical and creative perspective I’ve been lucky enough to gain invaluable experience and learn from some fantastic mentors.
With a fine art background and an obsession with design I’m always working on side projects and seeking out new creative experiences, be it music, road-trips, exhibitions or just soaking up whats right in front of me day in and day out.
