Is there something in your life you’d like to change? Learn a new skill? Discover a new career? Improve your well-being?

Run by Think Education, The Festival of Change is a 3 day educational festival on the 7th Р9th November that aims to inspire and help people to change something in their life that they’ve always wanted to such as their career, health, appearance, or lifestyle.

There will be 150 free, interactive events and workshops across the areas of design, fashion, beauty, health, food, hospitality, and business All presented by some of the best industry experts our country has to offer.

Throw in some food, music, stalls, and entertainment and you have a great festival to check out on your Friday, Saturday or Sunday

Looper Sally Reynolds will be speaking at 11:30am on Saturday 8 November at the Sydney event about ‘How To Succeed As A Creative‘. Sally graduated from graphic design at CATC in 2013, changing¬†her career trajectory from being a financial planner to working as¬†a designer in the post-production industry. She will divulge the¬†gritty details of what it involved, and tips on what to look for if¬†you are an aspiring student or thinking about a career change¬†into design.

One of our mentors from the recent portfolio masterclass that we held in Melbourne, Luke Carson, Principal at Design by Bird will be speaking at the Festival of Change in Melbourne on Saturday 8 November at 1pm. Luke will lay down the tips and tricks that will help take you from student life to studio life. This discussion and Q&A session will give you insight into what graphic Design studios look for in a design graduate, how to apply for design positions, and those extra little details that can help you to get your foot in the studio door. This will also suitable for those looking to start studying in a design field.

The Loop’s Marketing Manager Kate Rolfe will be speaking at the Sydney Festival of Change on Saturday 8 November at 11 – 11:30am about ‘The Connected Creative’. The future of creativity is being part of a niche social network. Kate will be talking about how you can promote yourself and gain recognition in a¬†competitive sea of talent and she’ll also cover what the connected creative of today’s world means for you.
